Creating supportive roles for college students and adults pursuing entrepreneurship.
Act as a 1:1 mentor for young entrepreneurs at the University of Rhode Island in various studies such as fashion & textile merchandising, business, and student-athletes.
Serve as a 1:1 mentor and co-mentor for the nationally recognized non-profit program, SCORE, Rhode Island Chapter, primarily serving mentee’s needs locally and occasionally nationally.
Provide mentorship in various industries, including startup streetwear apparel brands, therapeutic coaching, retail, travel, artisan crafts, musicians, and global convenience food markets.
Implement ideas to empower and guide the mentee, assisting them in clarifying their mission and addressing business and creative inquiries.
Offer assistance across a range of needs, including marketing guidance, social media, retail aesthetic, business registration, LLC and DBA processes, business structuring, branding, creative direction, and use of creative tools.
Highlight opportunities that would be worthwhile for the mentee to attend or learn about, including webinars, workshops, and funding opportunities.
Research solutions to problems in a range of topics, such as international distribution, tax and duty-free regulations, industry competition, and permits.
